| Dogs Gone Wild Flyball Club was formed in Tulsa Oklahoma in July of 2005 with 11 dogs and 7 owners/handlers. As of 2007, Dogs Gone wild has grown to over 20 dogs and over 12 owner/handlers. Our dogs, as our handlers, come from varied backgrounds and interests. Some of our dogs are city dogs and some are country dogs. Some have completed obedience and/or agility classes and are competing in other dog sports including disc. Our team was founded on the concept of being competitive while maintaining a fun and supportive environment for all. Flyball is for all non-aggressive dogs no matter whether full bred or mixed. We welcome all dogs and people who are looking for a fun team atmosphere where the dog can develop new skills, learn to play a game they will love, and the owner can build or strengthen the bond with their canine companion. We usually practice on Saturdays in Tulsa (see Contact Us section for more information). Competing in tournaments requires some travel. Our dogs have competed in tournaments in Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Tennessee, Kansas and Iowa. We invite you to visit one of our practices or demos (see Tournament's section) to see what we are all about. For questions or information about practice time and locations, please contact us at info@dogsgonewild.org. |
